Mill Park Hotel

On arrival, the very friendly reception staff helped us check in and secure a last minute booking in the restaurant before escorting us to our room. The room was enormous and very nicely finished with a large comfy bed. The bar area was great and had live music on. Donegal town is a short walk away and offers a range of additional bars and restaurants. The breakfast in the morning was one of the best hotel breakfasts i've had and we were allowed to use the leisure facilities after check out. The leisure centre staff also kindly gave us euros to use the lockers which was much appreciated.

Beautiful 4* hotel. From start to finish the trip with family was very enjoyable. The extensive menu had excellent choices. The food is top quality. The rooms are spacious and spotless. We are planning a return visit.

Really everything was excellent. Staff in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast were great. Anyone staff we met around the hotel were great.

Great location, just a short 5-10 min walk down into the town. Superb self service buffet breakfast, great quality food and great selection. Restaurant had a nice bar and had a good atmosphere. Staff all very helpful and friendly

Very modern, spacious, short distance to main town. Impeccably clean in all areas, complete with leisure facilities. Travelled as a couple with friends for a local gig, every staff member we came across were extremely pleasant and helpful. I find a lot of workers in customer service have lost those good qualities, but not in this hotel, we received outstanding service, from the young blonde receptionist to the male and female staff in the in-house restaurant to the night security/ all very nice people with great manners, able to build good rapport with their customers. This venue is a bit more pricey than some others but definitely worth every penny. The interior decor is beautifully finished, gives a traditional feel with the rafters in the Granary bar, but also modern and fresh. If anyone ever asks me to recommend a venue in the area or for an event/wedding- this is one I would suggest. I’ve worked in customer service and there is no point having top notch facilities if there is poor customer service, this venue is top class in all areas. The food from the restaurant was outstanding, aswell as the breakfast. Will be gladly returning in May for a local wedding. Rooms are very spacious and kudos for the 12 noon checkout time, adds a bonus to your stay when you can relax a little longer the next morning, most hotels I’ve been to recently had a 10-11 checkout, I would return here as this adds to the value of my booking. We were even allowed an extra hour late checkout free of charge to 1pm! I’m guessing as it was a Sunday, but again fantastic customer service. Well done to all at the Millpark Hotel.
